Hi, Happy ๐ Roald Dahl Day, All! Especially to those whom I cursed and meant it two years to date. Thatโs Gobblefunk for you! (There were those who got it when Messenger decided to auto-send to all my contacts and to them ๐๐ฝit wasnโt meant for you. Now break your neck figuring out who you are ๐)
Roald Dahl would have been 103 today.
And, this year, 2019, the Day falls on a Friday 13th๐งโโ๏ธ๐ผ๐ Whiffswiddel!
Sky ๐ is the limit when it comes to celebrating a day, especially a day commemorating Roald Dahl. He has brought so much joy and mirth to many children and grown-ups alike, through his numerous out of this world stories. Some of these awesome stories have been made into movies ๐ฅ๐ฟ that are equally delightful, such as The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory๐ซ๐ญ, Danny the Champion of the World, Fantastic Mr Fox ๐ฆ, Four Rooms, James and the Giant Peach ๐, Revolting Rhymes, Matilda, Esio Trot and The Witches.
Others are adaptations from the movies themselves like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and itโs Tom and Jerry animated version.
May be have a fancy dress ๐ par-taay ๐๐๐ and serve Roald Dahl character inspired food? Or foods straight from the stories themselves. That would be a real treat for both, the person throwing the party as well as for the attendees!
