Hereโ€™s the journey that this art page for a journal took, in the creation of it.

Iโ€™m new to this and Iโ€™m not working with usual art journaling/journaling supplies! I urgently need to go do some shopping ๐Ÿ› ๐Ÿ›’ soon.

Meanwhile, I did one โ˜๐Ÿฝ with help from artists in a Facebook group Iโ€™ve joined lately. Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ to them I was inspired to create the art page.

This is done on brown paper bag with acrylics, tissue paper, old newspaper ๐Ÿ“ฐ ๐Ÿ—ž, cloth scrap and garlic ๐Ÿง„ skin.

The printing you see is done โœ… by cutting a garlic bulb in half, and using black acrylic paint. The lacy effect is from a left over sticky tape strip from paper lace.

This art page is nowย  an insert inย ย A Boy’s Junk Journal.

Now, you be the judge as to if I need to go on that shopping trip or not ๐Ÿ˜

If not, I think ๐Ÿค” I must expand my sights and conquer more techniques or processes that are off the cuff. May be create an entirely new medium in the creative and joyful business of art journaling ๐Ÿ˜Š.
