Hosier Lane, Melbourne, Australia.
Degraves Street, Melbourne, Australia.
Melbourne’s soul is portrayed in the many shop windows that are dressed to show off, along with its many streets and lanes.
All of them bringing out the very essence of its’ culture of the arts that is so central to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. GRUNGE.
I’m featuring North Melbourne and the CBD.
If you were to merely go about taking in these creative beauties, basking in them, you wouldn’t be too wrong about the conclusions you reach as to the city’s creative energy. This energy, literally oozes from every street corner.
Everything about the way the wares are exhibited have a certain hallmark artistry to it. Starting with the menus displayed in cafes to the little details of having a ready drink of water for your thirsty pooch at the pet accessories shop, are all so beautifully presented!
Some are hilariously funny 😄 like this one ☝🏽- “Recycle ♻️ Your Butt Here”, a creation on the wall towards the bottom end of Degraves Street.
The load of trouble that these vendors have gone through to portray their goods to their customer or clientele is short of stupendous. A display worthy of display, and that’s why I’m here, showing it off and talking to you about it.
I found these beautifully arranged shop windows, even at random shops, a treat not to be missed. So, I went about capturing their glory by clicking away and I hope 🤞🏽 I’ve done ✅ them justice ☺️.
